Business Development Director - Visual Merchandising / Exhibitions and Events

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for expanding existing client relationships.
  • Hit and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, driving measurable revenue growth.
  • Proactively research and develop new business.
  • Manage existing accounts, upselling and cross-selling to maximise client value and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams—sales, marketing, design, production, and installation—to ensure seamless project delivery and client experience.
  • Prepare compelling proposals, quotes, and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline data using CRM tools.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experienced in B2B business development or account management experience, preferably in visual display, signage, event and exhibition sector.
  • Results-driven, confident person with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities and persuasive communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality—seeking and securing new opportunities proactively.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and an ability to collaborate across departments for optimal client outcomes.
  • Office-based in Leicestershire, with a flexible and hands-on approach to client and internal interactions.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems; familiarity with print or display production processes is desirable but not compulsory as training will be given.
  • UK residency and right to work required.
