We are currently recruiting for a global leader in the events industry for the role of Business Development Director. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected organisation known for delivering world-class experiences across international events. You’ll play a key role in driving business growth by leveraging your industry network, leading high-value client engagements, and shaping new business strategy.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Location: Bromley

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead Business Development in brand-led live events and experiential marketing, leveraging a strong industry network
  • Drive Client Engagement by initiating conversations, securing meetings, and leading pitch opportunities
  • Manage New Business Pipeline, tracking progress and conversion through the Commercial tracker
  • Collaborate Strategically with senior leadership on business development plans and performance reporting
  • Qualify Opportunities and align internal resources or third-party partners for outbound prospecting
  • Generate Revenue through solution selling, aligning client needs with experiential, creative, and production services.

Main Skills/ Requirements:

  • Proven new business expertise within experiential and live events
  • Ability to bring in briefs, maintain key relationships, and lead successful pitches.
  • Hands-on, strategic leadership with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Strong commercial and creative acumen, with a passion for experiential marketing and a forward-thinking, trend-aware approach
  • Exceptional communicator and persuasive presenter, confident in building rapport and articulating value to clients
  • Collaborative and adaptable, able to juggle multiple briefs and work cross-functionally to deliver results
  • Grounded and goal-oriented
  • Willingness to travel internationally as part of the role
