Your New Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for Business Development Coordinator to join the work winning team on a full time, permanent basis. This is a remote role that will require regular travel to either Liverpool, Manchester or Birmingham for meetings and industry visits.

The Business Development Coordinator plays an important part in the work winning team. They will be providing research and admin support to the business development and bid teams and will assist in coordinating business development activities across a range of clients and markets to contribute to the growth of the Amey business.

The standard hours of work are based on 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the business development team with all activities required during the pre-bid process, in accordance with mandated processes, which may include, but is not limited to raising FOIs, contacting procurement teams, reviewing and summarising client/competitor/market strategy documents, developing pipeline reports, client and competitor analysis documents and coordinating RFI/market engagement responses.
  • Coordinating the business development platforms/sites/folders to be consistent.
  • Monitoring, accessing and updating client and opportunity portals when necessary.
  • Providing admin support as required to the business development team via our CRM, teams and SharePoint platforms.
  • Supporting the senior business development market analyst in coordinating the schedule of business development deliverables and tracking progress.
  • Liaising with the wider PMO, bid and communication teams to coordinate efforts in relation to individual opportunities.
  • Contributing to research and reporting requirements of the business development teams.

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • A degree or qualification, ideally around a research discipline.
  • Good Microsoft Office experience.
  • Ability to work towards ever changing deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or alone.
  • Flexibility in your approach.
  • Ability to work with different stakeholders and different levels.
