OVERVIEW

In December 2023, CoStar Group purchased OnTheMarket (OTM) with the intention of developing this established brand into the UK's number 1 Residential Property portal.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a successful OTM Business Development Consultant (BDC), you will manage, nurture & grow your existing client base as part of a dynamic team. You will take an entrepreneurial approach to sell, train and retain your clients on the OTM products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Development of business growth through sourcing, generating, and building new business for OTM.
  2. Understand the OTM suite of products and how they best support our customers' needs.
  3. Identifying new sales leads and contacting potential new clients.
  4. Meeting new and existing clients in person.
  5. Negotiating business terms with new and existing clients.
  6. Working with senior team members to manage risks and communicate results.
  7. Represent OTM by hosting and attending industry events and networking with property professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Proven track record of sales success, preferably in online marketplaces or similar B2B environments.
  2. Demonstrated ability to maintain and grow client relationships.
  3. Outstanding communication, presentation, and objection handling skills.
  4. Excellent organizational skills and ability to work to metrics.
  5. Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  6. A consultative selling style with account management techniques.
  7. Ability to navigate a large organization to identify decision-makers and influencers.
