The role

Join our high-performing team! This position is ideal for a business development associate or executive seeking to advance to an assistant manager or senior executive role, with a strong emphasis on content creation rather than direct sales.

As a Senior Associate in our International Business Support Function (IBSF) team, you will:

  • Support international growth by enabling our member firms to succeed globally
  • Create impactful, pursuit-ready content that drives success
  • Manage the entire pursuit process, from pre-pitch preparations to client engagement tools
  • Lead best practices by identifying and sharing innovative guidance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different regions, time zones, and service lines
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently and track meaningful results
  • Promote IBSF's mission and raise awareness of its initiatives
  • Contribute to strategic projects and objectives for the year

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Background in professional or financial services, or B2B environments (preferred)
  • Experience in creating compelling business development content such as proposals, bids, capability statements, sales decks, or website material
  • Ability to translate client needs into engaging content, moving beyond direct sales approaches
  • Proven collaboration skills with senior stakeholders like fee earners, partners, or industry leaders
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills focused on clarity and effectiveness
  • Self-starter capable of managing projects independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Desirable:

  • Experience with Microsoft tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Planner, Outlook
  • Knowledge of Adobe products like InDesign and Photoshop
  • Additional language skills are a plus
