Job summary

Cadeler is seeking a Business Development Analyst to analyse commercial and operational data, identify growth opportunities and market gaps in the offshore wind sector. You will build trackers, dashboards and reports to support senior management and client-facing solutions.

Based in Norwich with frequent UK/industry engagement, you will develop relationships with stakeholders, deliver actionable insights from auctions and market rounds, and help advance Cadeler's growth while supporting

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline or proven performance in a similar role.
• Experience as a business/market analyst or business development support (essential).
• Experience in offshore wind, marine or energy sectors preferred.
• Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint; data visualization skills are a plus.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

As our industry continues to develop, so do we We are now looking for a Business Development Analyst to help build and maintain trackers, dashboards, and reports.

What will you do?

As our new Business Development Analyst, you will help create actionable insights based on auction and seabed leasing rounds, government targets, market intelligence etc. Furthermore, you will collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions which meet client needs.

Your Main Tasks Include

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis across the offshore wind sector, tracking project pipelines, opportunities, and industry trends.
• Build and maintain trackers, dashboards, and reports summarising pipeline opportunities and market developments for senior management.
• Develop a network of relationships with stakeholders in the industry.
• Support development and maintenance of stakeholder data, ensuring accurate records of engagements, leads, and opportunities.
• Attend industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events, promoting Cadeler and gathering intelligence.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of business development processes, tools, and reporting methods.

We think you will be a good match if you:

• Degree in relevant discipline or a track record and proof of performance in a similar position.
• Experience in a business analyst, market analyst, or business development support role (essential); experience gained within offshore wind, marine or energy sectors is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualisation tools is a plus.
• Demonstrable experience analysing data and producing clear reports or recommendations for non:technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal
