Job summary

Cadeler seeks a Business Development Analyst to analyse commercial and operational data, identify growth opportunities, market gaps and competitive advantages in the offshore wind sector.

You will build and maintain trackers, dashboards and reports, collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions for clients, and attend industry events to gather intelligence while supporting continuous improvement of BD processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline or proven performance in a similar role.
• Experience as a business analyst, market analyst, or BD support; offshore wind/marine/energy preferred.
• Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; data visualization experience a plus.
• Proven ability to analyse data and present actionable reports to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis for offshore wind pipelines and trends.
• Build and maintain trackers, dashboards, and reports summarising opportunities for senior management.
• Develop relationships with industry stakeholders and attend conferences and events.

As our industry continues to develop, so do we! We are now looking for a Business Development Analyst to help build and maintain trackers, dashboards, and reports.

What will you do?

As our new Business Development Analyst, you will help create actionable insights based on auction and seabed leasing rounds, government targets, market intelligence etc. Furthermore, you will collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions which meet client needs.

Your main tasks include:

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis across the offshore wind sector, tracking project pipelines, opportunities, and industry trends.
• Build and maintain trackers, dashboards, and reports summarising pipeline opportunities and market developments for senior management.
• Develop a network of relationships with stakeholders in the industry.
• Support development and maintenance of stakeholder data, ensuring accurate records of engagements, leads, and opportunities.
• Attend industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events, promoting Cadeler and gathering intelligence.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of business development processes, tools, and reporting methods.

We think you will be a good match if you:

• Degree in relevant discipline or a track record and proof of performance in a similar position.
• Experience in a business analyst, market analyst, or business development support role (essential); experience gained within offshore wind, marine or energy sectors is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualisation tools is a plus.
• Demonstrable experience analysing data and producing clear reports or recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal
