Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven and technically proficient Business Developer – FM Hard Services to lead business growth initiatives for our facility management operations in Côte d’Ivoire. The ideal candidate will leverage their wealth of experience as an FM Technical Manager in a reputable facilities management company to identify and secure new business opportunities in hard services, including HVAC, MEP, Electrical, Civil, and building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in hard facilities management (FM) services across the commercial, industrial, and public sectors.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, property developers, and government agencies.
3. Lead proposal preparation, including technical and commercial submissions for tenders and bids.
4. Develop sales strategies, pipeline plans, and revenue forecasts aligned with regional growth objectives.
5. Leverage deep technical knowledge to design tailored facility management solutions (HVAC, MEP, electrical, etc.).
6. Conduct site assessments and prepare technical presentations for prospective clients.
7. Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are operationally viable and cost-effective.
8. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to refine business strategies.
9. Identify opportunities for service differentiation and innovation in hard FM services.
10. Contribute to the development of pricing models and service delivery frameworks.
11. Prepare regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and performance against targets.
12. Coordinate closely with the West Africa Country Manager and regional leadership on strategic initiatives.
13. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and stakeholder meetings.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or related technical discipline.
2. Minimum 5 years' experience as an FM Technical Manager in a reputable facility management company in Côte d’Ivoire or West Africa.
3. Proven track record in business development or client acquisition within the hard FM services sector.
4. In-depth knowledge of HVAC, MEP, and building maintenance operations.
5. Strong network within the real estate, construction, and infrastructure sectors in Côte d’Ivoire.
6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
7. Fluent in French and proficient in English (spoken and written).

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Professional certifications in FM (e.g., IFMA, PMP, NEBOSH) are an advantage.
2. Experience working in a multinational or regional FM company.
3. Familiarity with public-private partnerships (PPP) or government tendering processes.
