Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom seeks a senior business systems and data professional to partner with departments, assess workflows, configure systems, and deliver a costed improvement roadmap across SAP, CRM and M365. You will lead the CRM project, improve data structures, and deliver AI-enabled automations with governance.

The role requires 5–10 years in BI/data/ERP, extensive Power BI, SQL and cross-country collaboration, with a mix of on-site and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years’ experience in business systems, data analysis, BI or process improvement roles.
• Gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders and turning them into solutions.
• Strong understanding of data structures, data quality, integration and governance.
• Hands-on experience administering or supporting ERP platforms such as SAP.
• CRM platform experience (Salesforce, Dynamics 365 or HubSpot) with data model knowledge.
• Power BI dashboard development and self-service reporting across the business.
• Broad Microsoft environment expertise including 365, SharePoint and Power Automate.
• Experience with AI-enabled tools and AI governance.
• Experience with SAP Business ByDesign is a plus.
• Ability to work across multiple countries or business units and explain ideas clearly.

Act as a business partner to every department, assessing current workflows, system gaps and data usage
Configure systems, build reports and implement changes hands-on
Review systems and data across departments and produce a prioritised, costed improvement roadmap
Deliver early quick wins
Lead the CRM project, improving customer data structure, integration and usage
Deliver self-service reporting from SAP for O&M cost, customer servicing and travel data
Implement core dashboards with clear ownership and usage tracking
Establish data foundations for a customer data product combining customer and product performance data and evidencing energy, water and carbon savings
Put AI-enabled automations into live use and help shape the AI governance framework
Improve data flow, data quality and data integrity across SAP Business ByDesign, CRM and Microsoft 365
Plan and implement new or upgraded applications
Build and maintain Power BI reporting
Help the business use AI-enabled tooling responsibly
Train and support key users in data and systems best practices
Collaborate with the IT lead and colleagues across locations, cultures and time zones

Requirements

• 5–10 years’ experience in business systems, data analysis, business intelligence or process improvement roles
• Track record of gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders and turning them into delivered solutions
• Strong understanding of data structures, data quality, integration and data governance
• Hands-on experience administering, configuring or supporting ERP platforms, SAP preferred, including obtaining usable reporting
• Hands-on experience administering or configuring a CRM platform such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or HubSpot, including data model and integration
• Power BI dashboard development and self-service reporting
• Broad, strong capability across the Microsoft environment
• Experience using AI-enabled tools in day-to-day work
• Experience delivering process improvement initiatives
• Experience with SAP Business ByDesign
• Microsoft 365 administration and integration, including SharePoint and Power Automate
• Experience with Microsoft Foundry and Azure AI
• Experience of AI governance
• SQL and data querying skills
• Programming experience is a bonus but not essential
• Experience working across multiple countries or business units
• Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders and explain technical ideas in plain language
• Self-starter able to work without close direction
• Comfortable working across different cultures and time zones
