Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior transformation leader to drive end-to-end ERP-enabled transformations across Sales, Operations and Finance in a global context.

You will define operating models, lead cross-functional programs, and partner with senior leaders to deliver measurable business value through SAP-enabled initiatives.

Qualifications

10+ years leading business transformation, process improvement, or ERP-enabled programmes.
10+ years of consulting experience.
Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash and Project Lifecycle Management processes.
Experience with SAP-enabled transformation in Sales & Distribution and Project Systems.

Job description

Lead business transformation initiatives across Sales, Commercial Operations, Project Delivery, and Finance functions
Define and drive future-state operating models aligned to strategic business objectives
Partner with business leadership teams to identify process simplification, standardization, and optimization opportunities
Facilitate executive workshops to define transformation vision, objectives, and success measures
Drive business readiness and adoption of new processes and ways of working
Lead end-to-end Order-to-Cash transformation covering Opportunity to Order, Contract Management, Sales Order Fulfilment, Billing and Revenue Processes, and Customer Experience Improvements
Assess current-state processes and develop process standards and governance frameworks across regions and business units
Lead SAP PS solution design and analyze project management and project accounting requirements
Advise on WBS, networks and activities, milestones, project budgeting, cost planning, revenue recognition, and project settlement
Support project lifecycle processes from project creation through closure
Design and execute SIT and UAT testing activities
Provide production support and issue resolution
Drive improvements in project planning, governance, execution, financial control, and reporting
Partner with Project Management, PMO, Operations, and Finance teams to improve project performance and visibility
Define future-state project operating models and governance structures
Support transformation of project commercial management and project billing processes
Build relationships with executive stakeholders and business leaders
Bridge business teams and SAP delivery teams
Translate business challenges into transformation opportunities and roadmap initiatives
Influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations and business cases
Lead change impact assessments and business readiness activities
Define communication, training, and adoption strategies
Measure transformation outcomes and value realization
Support ERP and SAP transformation programmes through design, testing, deployment, and adoption
Provide programme governance and manage process-related risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations

Requirements

10+ years of experience in business transformation, process improvement, or ERP-enabled transformation programmes
10+ years of consulting experience
Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash and Project Lifecycle Management processes
Experience working on SAP-enabled transformation initiatives, particularly within Sales & Distribution and Project Systems environments
Demonstrated experience engaging with senior stakeholders and leadership teams
Proven ability to lead cross-functional transformation programmes
Strong workshop facilitation and process design skills
SAP S/4HANA transformation programme experience preferred
Experience in consulting, business transformation, or operating model design roles preferred
Experience within engineering, utilities, manufacturing, telecommunications, professional services, or project-centric industries preferred
Familiarity with Agile, SAP Activate, or other transformation methodologies preferred
Experience driving global process harmonization initiatives preferred
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to lead functional teams and coordinate with cross-functional workstreams
Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex business problems
Project-related mobility/willingness to travel
