Business Data Analyst – Data Migration Project (Pensions)

We are working on a critical data migration programme for a pensions organisation that has recently acquired a new book of business. This role will sit within the IT & Data Migration workstream, ensuring that data from legacy systems is effectively mapped, transformed, and validated for upload to the target platform.

As Business Data Analyst, you will bridge the gap between data analysis and business operations, ensuring data readiness and supporting impact assessments for business users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct data analysis and mapping from legacy systems to target formats, maintaining the master source and mapping documentation.
  • Collaborate with client SMEs to identify operational impacts of unavailable or delayed data and support mitigation planning.
  • Coordinate with BAU teams to identify and incorporate any additional data sources required for the migration.
  • Assess data completeness and quality, documenting gaps and exceptions.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in data analysis, ideally in a financial services or pensions environment.
