Business Crime Paralegal, London

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Business Crime Paralegal to join the highly regarded Business Crime team at a leading City law firm. Recognised for its expertise in business crime and fraud, this firm offers a superb platform for gaining hands-on experience with high-profile matters.

The Role:

The successful Paralegal will work alongside leading solicitors and barristers on a complex, high-profile case. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with scope for extension.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with trial preparation, including the preparation of court bundles, evidence review, and liaising with counsel.
• Legal research and drafting case summaries and briefing notes.
• Managing and reviewing disclosure materials, including e-discovery tasks.
• Attending court hearings and preparing detailed notes.
• Drafting legal documents and correspondence.
• Providing general support with case management

About You:

• Previous litigation experience is essential, ideally in business crime, fraud, or regulatory disputes.
• Experience working at a regulatory body such as the SFO or FCA is highly advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent research and drafting skills.
• Familiarity with litigation support tools and e-disclosure platforms is beneficial.
