Job Description:

MCS Group is supporting a large public sector organization based in Belfast in recruiting a HR Business Coordinator. The role involves supporting the Human Resource Manager(s) in managing human resources and employee relations issues according to organizational policies and legislative requirements. Responsibilities include acting as an investigating officer for grievances and disciplinary cases, managing HR records related to recruitment, discipline, sickness absence, overtime, and leave, and developing reports for senior management. The role also involves monitoring HR performance data, participating in absence management, disciplinary, and grievance cases, and assisting in managing sickness absence and compliance with absence policies.

The Person: The ideal candidate will have a 3rd-level qualification in Business Studies, Human Resource Management, or a related field, with prior experience in a unionized environment and expertise in HR advice and guidance.
