Business Controller / Management Accountant – Broughton | Hybrid (4 days on-site)

£40 per hour via Umbrella – 35 hours over 4.5 days

Based in Broughton – BPSS+ clearance required

Contract until February 2026 | Inside IR35

Paid overtime over 35 hours

ABOUT THE CLIENT:

Our client is a globally recognised engineering and manufacturing business at the heart of the UK’s aerospace industry. With a £4bn turnover, they play a pivotal role in producing world-class aircraft components. As part of their expanding finance team, they’re now seeking aBusiness Controller / Management Accountantto support high-value operations through rigorous financial control, reporting, and analysis.

THE BUSINESS CONTROLLER / MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

You will play a key part in the financial planning and reporting cycle, working closely with operational teams to deliver accurate, timely and insightful analysis. Responsibilities include managing budgeting and forecasting processes, assessing business cases for investment, reporting on financial performance vs. targets, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role covers recurring cost, inventory, capex, and more.

BUSINESS CONTROLLER / MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA preferred) with 2+ years’ post-qualification experience
• Experience in manufacturing or commercial environments
• Proficient with SAP or similar financial reporting tools
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder communication across levels and functions
• Proactive team player with a drive for continuous improvement
