An employment consultancy is seeking a Business Control Specialist (Risk) in Chester. This role involves managing risk and compliance for Network Services with a focus on internal audits and stakeholder relationships. Ideal candidates should possess strong skills in compliance and network technology risks, along with proficiency in Excel. The position requires 3 days onsite each week.

Job description

Role: Business Control Specialist (Risk)

Location: Chester (3 days a week onsite)

Duration: 6 Months

Experience and Skills required

• Good understanding of compliance risks and compliance assessments, with good knowledge of general network technology risks.
• Experience in Network Service Assurance and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to maintain relationships within the team and with key stakeholders.
• Support internal compliance audits, representing network technology throughout the audit lifecycle (from planning through remediation).

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of risk management including issue and audit management, escalation, and reporting.
• Experience in Service Assurance, managing, measuring, and reporting on critical Network Services processes, procedures, controls, and metrics.
• Provide advice to all Networks teams to ensure adherence to Enterprise Standards, Policies, Laws, Rules, and Regulations.
• Assist with evidence collection, report findings, and validate issue remediation.
