This role can be performed fully remote or hybrid with the option of working out of a number of Atos locations – Durham, Glasgow, Lytham and London.

It requires BPSS clearance, meaning 3 years of residency in the UK to present date.

Your job in a nutshell:

The position will sit within the Atos Risk & Assurance Directorate. This role is key to driving our risk maturity forward by enabling a consistent and effective approach to the Business Continuity Framework management across the NS&I account B2C and B2B business lines.

What will you be doing:

  1. Lead the annual Business Continuity Management (BCM) workplan, overseeing all BCMS activities.
  2. Ensure regular reviews and approvals of Business Continuity materials, providing feedback and challenge.
  3. Maintain and oversee the Crisis Management Team Plan, Business Continuity Policy, and Minimum Standards.
  4. Conduct crisis management exercises and user testing of plans, ensuring actions are tracked to completion.
  5. Coordinate incident responses, ensuring the right business areas are engaged and post-incident reviews are completed.
  6. Provide assurance over third-party supplier Business Continuity frameworks.
  7. Develop Business Continuity awareness across business units through training and engagement.
  8. Ensure the Business Continuity Framework aligns with industry Good Practice Guidelines.
  9. Act as Subject Matter Expert for Business Continuity in bids, projects, and audits.
  10. Oversee the Operational Resilience framework, ensuring policy compliance and adherence to client contractual obligations.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a rich combination of experience, proven skills, and personal attributes. See below to find out if you are the person we are looking for:

  1. Core expertise in Business Continuity Management.
  2. Written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  3. Knowledge of Good Practice Guidelines.
  4. Understanding the drivers of changing internal and external factors to the Business Continuity Framework.
  5. Strong relationship management and collaboration skills (with internal and external senior stakeholders).
  6. Statutory member of BCI.
  7. Understanding of regulation, policy, and standards applicable to the Financial Services industry.
  8. Good understanding of IT controls, risk management, best practice, and relevant ISO standards.
  9. Good understanding of Risk Management principles and frameworks.
  10. Preferably: Experience in Business Continuity, and Financial Services Experience (Life & Pensions).
