Job Description:

Function:

The Business Consultant will work with customers and Itineris teams to ensure the successful deployment of the UMAX solution, managing customer needs from a business and market regulation perspective. The role focuses on providing business and market guidance and supporting mediation decisions with the customer Business.

The position is based in Ghent (Sint-Denijs-Westrem), UK, or EIR and requires market experience in Ireland (ROI and NIE). ERP implementation experience is a plus.

UMAX is our cloud-based software for water and energy utilities, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, automating business processes and enhancing customer engagement.

As a Business Consultant with market experience in Ireland, you will:

• Act as the link between Business and IT as a business-focused analyst.
• Manage customer expectations and support functional experts in translating business needs into requirements.
• Attend workshops and meetings onsite with clients.
• Provide feedback to product development, sales, and marketing teams.
• Contribute to the evolution of the UMAX solution for market readiness.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, sales, pre-sales, product, and project teams.
• Participate in project progress meetings and identify risk areas proactively.
• Deliver high-quality consulting services to new and existing customers.
• Work with colleagues to upskill according to industry best practices and understand the energy market in Ireland (ROI & NIE).
• Continuously develop and share knowledge within the Utility market, especially in Ireland.

What you bring:

• Strong analytical skills (master’s degree or equivalent experience).
• Deep knowledge of the Irish energy market.
• At least 5 years’ experience as a Business/Functional Consultant, preferably in large ERP/CRM projects.
• Expertise in identifying business requirements and understanding customer processes.
• Skills in Business Process Management.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Team-oriented, problem-solving mentality.
• Hands-on, proactive, quality-driven approach.
• Customer-oriented with adaptability to fast-paced environments.
