About us

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Business Compliance Team within a diverse Public Protection Service.

Warrington is a thriving Borough within the North West and attracts a wide range of business due to its excellent transport links. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a team helping to protect the public and to support local businesses.

The role

The post will provide support to the Business Compliance Team with advisory and enforcement support work in areas including e.g. food safety, food standards, trading standards and infectious disease control.

The role will require you to work on your own initiative, determine appropriate courses of action to a range of issues, and prioritise your workload to meet required deadlines.

It is essential that the post holder has effective communication skills and can follow instructions and produce accurate written and numerical work.
