Company Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Business Community Engagement Manager to lead and enhance engagement efforts with both internal and external business communities within Corporate Data Services.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

You will be responsible for developing and executing engagement strategies that support their data transformation goals. Your efforts will ensure community feedback informs programme delivery, while stakeholders remain informed, involved, and aligned with key initiatives.

* Design and implement a business community engagement strategy for Corporate Data Services.
* Build and sustain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and local business networks.
* Plan and lead engagement forums, workshops, and events to promote data initiatives and capture community feedback.
* Collaborate with programme leads to integrate insights into delivery plans.
* Serve as the main liaison between Corporate Data Services and other areas of their organisation.
* Produce clear and engaging communications, reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders and community partners.
* Track the effectiveness of engagement activities and refine strategies based on outcomes and feedback.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

* Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, or community management, ideally within corporate or financial services.
* Understanding of data-driven transformation programmes and their business impact.
* Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
* Strong organisational and project coordination skills across multiple stakeholders or teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
* Experience working in hybrid or geographically dispersed environments.
* Familiarity with the Glasgow business ecosystem and local community networks is advantageous.

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

* Degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
* Background in Corporate Banking or Data Services.
* Understanding of our clients internal governance and programme delivery frameworks.
