Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is offering a Business & Commercial Banking Internship in Birmingham. The internship runs for 8 weeks with a 35-hour week, from Monday 21st June to Friday 13th August 2027, to gain real work experience and contribute to client projects.

You'll work with engineers and experts to understand client needs, develop leads, and support pricing and business cases while exploring lending, FX, payments, and merchant services. This is a valuable gateway to our 2028 Graduate Programme.

Qualifications

• Be in your penultimate year at university.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and technical skills aligned to the role.
• We cannot sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

• Meeting clients to understand needs and how we can support them.
• Helping teams pitch for business, develop leads, and make introductions.
• Working on deals with an expert.
• Monitoring market opportunities and generating new ideas.
• Developing business cases for investments and initiatives while supporting pricing.
• Supporting efforts to break down barriers and build a more inclusive society.
