Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is offering a Business & Commercial Banking Internship in Birmingham. The internship runs for 8 weeks with a 35-hour week, from Monday 21st June to Friday 13th August 2027, to gain real work experience and contribute to client projects.

You'll work with engineers and experts to understand client needs, develop leads, and support pricing and business cases while exploring lending, FX, payments, and merchant services. This is a valuable gateway to our 2028 Graduate Programme.

Requirements

What you need to apply

• Be in your penultimate year at university.
• While we do not require a set projected minimum degree achievement, we strongly recommend the ability to be able to demonstrate sound knowledge, understanding and technical skills aligned to the role. Some aspects of this, alongside behaviours and values, will be assessed through the application process.
• We cannot sponsor visas.

Locations

This role is based in Birmingham. All colleagues are expected to spend a minimum of two days each week in the office, some roles are five days per week.
