Job description

Ideas | People | Trust

We’re BDO, an accountancy and business advisory firm providing the advice and solutions entrepreneurial organisations need to navigate today’s changing world.

We work with Britain’s economic engine — ambitious, entrepreneurial, high-growth businesses — and advise their owners and management teams directly.

We’ll broaden your horizons

The Operations PMO is responsible for maximising BDO's change investment, delivering change effectively and efficiently, tracking and reporting on expectations, building change delivery capability, and mobilising teams to support the firm’s initiatives.

Our motto is “Do Less, Better” — delivering the right change initiatives at the right pace and in the right way.

We’ll help you succeed

Leading organisations trust us because of our quality advice, which stems from a deep understanding of their business gained through close collaboration and long-term relationships.

You will be proactive, able to manage your tasks independently, and confident in collaborating and communicating with senior managers, directors, and partners to support business success. You will also identify opportunities to enhance our delivery and expand our services.

We seek an experienced Business Change Manager to ensure effective implementation and sustainability of new processes and systems. You will report to the Senior Business Change Manager and manage change deliverables across multiple programmes or projects, engaging stakeholders to understand impacts and promote the use of our self-service toolkit for consistent change management.

In this role you’ll:

  • Design and manage comprehensive business change plans aligned with project objectives and schedules.
  • Develop artefacts like impact assessments, risk mitigation plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, communication plans, readiness assessments, training, go-live, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Use reporting tools to baseline and track business readiness, applying feedback for ongoing improvement.
  • Advise the business on navigating people change effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business, projects, and PMO.
  • Assess whether change outcomes are achieved through readiness and adoption evaluations, capturing lessons learned for future improvements.

You’ll be someone with:

  • Proven experience in Business Change, ideally within professional services.
  • Expertise in impact assessments, change activities, benefit realization, stakeholder engagement, training, and communication planning.
  • Experience managing large-scale change projects from design through monitoring.
  • Knowledge of training strategies, methodologies, and delivery techniques for business learning.

We value your individuality and contributions. We promote agile working, offering flexible arrangements suited to you, your team, and your tasks.

At BDO, we support your personal and career development through structured programs, resources, and frameworks.

We’re in it together

Mutual support and respect are core values. We foster a people-centred culture with mentoring, coaching, and collaboration spaces designed to facilitate idea sharing and learning.

We’re looking forward to the future

BDO helps entrepreneurial businesses succeed, fueling the UK economy. Our success depends on our people, and we continually invest in your growth. We adapt and evolve, combining global reach, integrity, and expertise, to shape a better future together.
