Job summary

The focus is planning, coordinating and managing UAT and data migration cycles through go-live, ensuring test scenarios reflect real workflows and that feedback is captured and communicated

Job description

My leading Commodities trading client are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to support the rollout across its Front Office and Middle Office functions. This hybrid role combines business change management with hands-on systems analysis, working closely with traders, risk, P&L and trade control teams, the programme and project managers, and the development team.

At this stage of the project, the primary focus is planning, coordinating and managing the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and data migration cycles through to go-live. You will ensure each cycle is well defined and structured, that business users understand the process and their part in it, that test scenarios reflect real Front and Middle Office workflows, and that feedback, progress, issues and outcomes are captured and communicated effectively.

Alongside this, you will capture and document Front and Middle Office functional requirements for handover to the development team, and unit test the delivered functionality before it reaches UAT. The overall aim is smooth user adoption and minimal disruption to trading and risk operations through cutover and beyond.

This is a newly created role in a growing business. A brilliant contract role!

The following skills / experience is required:

• Proven business change management experience on system implementations


• Previously worked in Commodities


• CTRM / ETRM background


• Strong business/system analysis skills

Rate: Up to £1,000/day

Duration: 12 months +

Location: London (good work from home options available)
