Job summary

Sanderson Government and Defence is recruiting a Business Change Consultant for a high-profile programme within the UK national security sector, based in Cheltenham. You'll work directly with senior stakeholders to deliver change across complex, high-security environments.

The role

• Lead business change activity across transformation programmes
• Develop and implement change strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, and communications
• Assess organisational readiness and manage resistance to change
• Work closely with programme and delivery teams to embed new ways of working
• Support benefits realisation and track adoption post-go-live

What you'll need

• Active eDV clearance (non-negotiable)
• Proven experience in business change or transformation roles, ideally within defence, security, or government
• Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable operating at senior level
• Experience with change frameworks (Prosci, APMG, or similar)
• Confident communicator, able to translate complexity into clear action
