The Purpose
As a
Business Change Analyst, you’ll join a high-profile team at the centre of Manchester United’s strategic and operational transformation. This team plays a vital role in shaping and coordinating the club’s direction—managing the operating rhythm of Executive Leadership Team (ELT) meetings and preparing for key external engagements, including with the Premier League. Acting as a central hub for cross-functional collaboration, the team leads impactful change initiatives across the business, from driving sustainability and cost optimisation to streamlining internal processes and enabling innovation.
The Role
- Support the coordination of cross club projects (meetings / communications)
- Help to align wider club functions to activities e.g. Finance, Communications
- Develop reporting to ELT and other stakeholders on key projects
- Apply appropriate tools, frameworks and methodologies to support delivery of projects
- Identify and implement improvements to internal processes where possible
- Problem solving, research & analysis tasks (qualitative & quantitative)
- Relationship management – engaging with and supporting various senior stakeholders across the club
- Summarise complex analysis into simple, well-structured outputs (Word / PowerPoint / Excel)
The Person:
- Some experience or strong interest in working within project teams, PMO, strategy consulting, or internal consulting functions
- Adaptable and able to work across a wide variety of projects and club functions (Commercial / Football / Operational)
- Strong process and organisational skills
- Ability to apply frameworks and take a structured approach to solving complex business problems
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to play a hands-on role with a can-do, pro-active attitude
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize/ manage multiple projects and stakeholders at once
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint / Excel / Word)
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work in a high-pressure environment and deliver against challenging deadlines
