Job description
Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for a confident and proactive individual to join us as a Business Change Analyst.

The role is offered on a fixed-term basis of 12 months and will contribute to the team by supporting business change and continuous improvement. You will analyse operations and coordinate system development and testing activities to provide strategic recommendations to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and improve operational processes and systems to enhance customer service, boost efficiency, and reduce risk by challenging existing practices.
  • Lead review and analysis of business operations and change activity, developing cost v benefit analysis and making recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Lead and support the optimisation of core policy systems, workflow, telephony, automation tools and MI to improve business performance.
  • Design and test potential process changes and collaborate with key stakeholders and those impacted to ensure successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with project teams on changes to our products and systems, acting as a valuable subject matter expert, and always considering the impact of changes on the customer journey.
  • Responsible for delivery of UAT, operational readiness and post implementation testing for system releases in line with LV risk appetite.
  • Ensure any changes or updates to the customer journey strike a balance between regulatory requirements, the cost of processing, and our risk appetite.
  • Deliver in depth technical training and process documentation in line with risk and compliance to ensure consistent delivery of the customer journey.
  • Reporting on progress, resources, finance or costings for change or projects.
About You
  • Good understanding of Financial Services industry, our markets and regulatory framework.
  • Strong technical and relevant industry experience at an operational level.
  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills; with the ability to deliver professional, structured, and unambiguous written and verbal communication.
  • Adaptable and detail-oriented professional with strong organisational skills, able to stay approachable and effective under pressure.
  • Proactive and quick-thinking with a positive, assertive approach to challenges.
  • Computer literate with at least intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • Good understanding of risk and compliance, and how to mitigate our key risks.
  • Basic understanding of project governance, lifecycle, tools and service delivery requirements from change.
