Portsmouth Water is looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented Business Change Analyst to join our team on a 12- month fixed-term contract. In this key role, you’ll support the delivery of large-scale transformation programmes by guiding Business Readiness Assessments, coordinating change plans, and ensuring smooth integration of changes across the wider business.

You’ll be responsible for conducting Change Impact Assessments and developing Readiness Plans to support a seamless transition. Working closely with stakeholders and the Business Change Lead, you'll identify potential challenges, assess training needs, and help encourage adoption of change. Strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and a supportive approach to change management are essential for success in this role.

What will you be doing?

Key Responsibilities
Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to gather and analyse information on future processes and identify potential impacts/training needs
Create training needs documents
Create / update change plans
Assist in the creation of detailed change impact assessments (CIA’s) to detail impacts on people, processes and technology
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective readiness plans and training
Hold regular readiness planning review sessions with impacted business owners
Provide guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders throughout the change process and training Participate in post-implementation reviews and identify areas for improvement
Co-develop the PW change management toolkit
