This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and people-focused Business Centre Coordinator to play a central role in the day-to-day running of a Civica facility. Reporting to the Facilities Manager and Health and Safety Manager, you will ensure the smooth, safe, and secure operation of the site while creating a professional and welcoming environment for colleagues, customers, and visitors.
This role is part-time, working two days per week onsite.

Responsibilities
- Be a trusted point of contact for colleagues and visitors, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
- Ensure the workplace is safe, secure, and well-maintained, overseeing health & safety, environmental management, and emergency response.
- Coordinate daily operations of the Business Centre, maintaining high standards of presentation and efficiency.
- Manage meeting rooms, booking systems, and support workplace technology use.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with internal processes and regulations.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and the Facilities Team to support building maintenance and security.
- Promote Civica's values by fostering a positive workplace culture and continuous improvement.
- Manage time effectively and proactively resolve issues.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with a professional, courteous manner—both face-to-face and in writing.
- Self-motivated, organised, and proactive in identifying and addressing needs.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, especially in managing facilities or responding to incidents.
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office applications
- Workspace and meeting room booking systems
- Managing stock and office supplies
- Flexibility and a hands-on approach, willing to stay until tasks are complete.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally front-of-house, is preferred.
