Trials, Experiments & Technology (Development) Business Cell Lead

AWE has a great opportunity for a Business Cell Lead to lead the Integrated Services Team in EPURE Business Operations, including document and information management, business administration, data analytics, and fiscal management. This role supports the delivery and operational capability of the EPURE Delivery Unit (EDU).

Location: Initial at AWE Aldermaston, followed by assignment to CEA Valduc, 45 minutes outside Dijon, France

Package: £47,690 - £60,000 (depending on suitability, qualifications, and experience)

Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight. We consider flexible working requests; please specify your preferred pattern in your application.

About the Role

We seek an innovative thinker with experience leading a multi-disciplinary team to support EDU's delivery and operational capabilities. Experience in fiscal budget management, corporate insights, and analytics is essential. The role is delivery-focused, requiring effective communication with stakeholders across the business.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:
  • Proven experience in planning and delivering complex programs
  • Skills in analysis and reporting of key performance indicators
  • Experience working with internal & external stakeholders to maintain service level agreements
Additional Skills and Experience:
  • Managing and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Driving efficiencies and waste reduction
  • Facilitating strategic thinking
  • Budget management and commercial awareness
  • Managing business operations
  • Presenting high-level metrics and management information
  • Experience with project planning and value streams
