We have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Business Administration Assistant to join our team with the Forensic Mental Health team.

As a Business Assistant you will work within an admin team to provide a comprehensive administrative service to medics and outpatient function within the Forensic Service. You will be joining a welcoming team who work well together and support each other.We are looking for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic, a team player and above all able to demonstrates a commitment to the Trusts values in everyday life.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will posses excellent IT and audio-typing skills, good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to liaise with service users in a calm and compassionate manner and the ability to work positively and proactively as part of the wider administrative and clinical teams.As a Business Admin Assistant, you will be required to attend meetings, taking minutes/notes of the meeting, circulating documentation including identifying actions ensuring they are logged, prioritised, and are followed up.You will be planning and organising training, diary management of appointments and of the multi-disciplinary team and also events which will include co-ordinating travel arrangements and guest speakers.

You will support the processing of complex forensic patient referrals which involves collating information from various internal/external agencies.You will support in organising multi-agency meetings for patients involving and supporting the Ministry of Justice and work collaboratively with the Mental Health Act office and processes.You will support other patient related tasks including producing clinic letter via Digital Dictation, arranging outpatient appointments and Care Programme Approach meetingsYou will undertake diary management for yourself and others and you will communicate effectively via email, including implementing aflagging/prioritisation system.
