The Leonardo Cyber & Security Solutions Division, one of the three divisions in Leonardo UK, is a pivotal innovator, helping customers deliver and secure their digital transformation. Cyber & Security Solutions supplies technology and services for both civil, defence, and security markets, in the UK and worldwide, to enhance customer capabilities.

As a business apprentice in the Cyber division, you will spend time with various departments within the business to experience, understand, and contribute to the team’s goals and successes.

You will primarily work in one of our largest integrated project teams (IPTs), providing support across functions that ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include supporting:

  1. administration of project processes such as site access, health and safety compliance, and project reporting
  2. management of the project plan against budgets
  3. delivery of contractual obligations
  4. procurement of goods and services and management of third-party providers
  5. monitoring project performance through KPIs and communicating concerns
  6. use of tools like SAP, applying processes, and promoting project management best practices
  7. adherence to project governance throughout the project lifecycle
  8. participation in continuous improvement initiatives

Your experiences will lay a strong foundation for your future career in any area within the business.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • 2 A Levels (Grade A* - C), including English, Maths, or a Business subject, or an equivalent Level 3 qualification in a business-related subject
  • GCSEs (Grade 4 - 9 / Grade A* - C) in Maths and English

You are someone who:

  • is organized and detail-oriented
  • possesses excellent skills in software like Excel and PowerPoint

Having a qualification in a relevant subject like business studies is an advantage.

The starting salary for this role is £20,000.
