We are seeking a skilled Business Applications Specialist to join our team. This role involves deploying, upgrading, and supporting complex IT/OT systems globally within manufacturing, quality, and engineering sectors. The candidate will collaborate with Architecture, Security, and Site Services IT/OT teams, and work with third-party vendors to ensure system compliance and support.

The role includes lifecycle management of applications, ensuring uptime, risk reduction, and mentoring team members. It requires building relationships with stakeholders and implementing sustainable technical solutions with a cradle-to-grave support approach.

This is a 100% global role, supporting manufacturing plants worldwide in a follow-the-sun support model.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing the full lifecycle of global applications and infrastructure.
• Leading and participating in IT/OT projects.
• Risk mitigation, disaster recovery, high availability planning.
• Configuring applications, networks, servers, and global network design.
• Documentation, system improvements, and expansion planning.
• Resolving complex application issues to minimize downtime.
• Working with vendors and support groups for updates and issue resolution.
• Aligning with global IT initiatives and supporting manufacturing operations.
• Mentoring team members and fostering application/system ownership.

Experience and skills required:

• Minimum 7+ years in IT/OT systems deployment, support, and lifecycle management in a manufacturing environment.
• Project management skills.
• Technical expertise in networks, servers, storage, backups, high availability, and fault tolerance.
• Workstation tech, Active Directory/Group Policy, virtualization (Azure, VMware).
• Automation, scripting, and system design skills.
• Strong stakeholder relationship building, documentation, problem-solving skills.
