Job summary
Hyundai Motor Company UK is seeking a Business Applications Platform Analyst to support, maintain and enhance our SAP environment across Hyundai and Genesis Motor UK. You will work with the Business Applications Manager to resolve SAP issues, analyze processes and drive improvements that enable efficient day-to-day operations.
Strong BA skills are required, including requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, and translating business needs into technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting SAP environments and business processes.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Day-to-day application support experience and incident resolution.
- Experience producing training materials for end users.
- Experience with ERP/CRM/BI platforms and related interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, triage and manage SAP-related incidents and service requests via ServiceNow and JIRA.
- Resolve 1st and 2nd line SAP support tickets including transaction errors and user queries.
- Assist with analysing SAP-related business requirements and improvements.
- Investigate recurring SAP issues and implement sustainable resolutions.
- Escalate complex technical or integration issues to internal teams or partners.
- Maintain clear ticket records, notes and user updates.
- Document SAP processes, user guidance and technical specs as required.
- Support related business applications and interfaces interacting with SAP.

At Hyundai and Genesis Motor UK, our digital ecosystem underpins every aspect of our business, supporting employees, retailers, training centres and our Tilbury port operations. The Business Applications Platform Analyst plays a key role in supporting, maintaining and enhancing our SAP environment, ensuring business-critical systems run effectively. Working closely with the Business Applications Manager, you'll resolve SAP issues, support users, analyse business processes, and help deliver system improvements that enable efficient day-to-day operations across Hyundai and Genesis Motor UK.
We want you to:
- Monitor, triage and manage SAP-related incidents and service requests through ServiceNow and JIRA
- Resolve 1st and 2nd line SAP support tickets, including transaction errors, process issues and user navigation queries
- Support the Business Applications Manager in analysing SAP-related business requirements and identifying practical system or process improvements
- Investigate recurring SAP issues, identify root causes and help implement sustainable resolutions
- Escalate complex SAP functional, technical or integration issues to the appropriate internal teams or external partners
- Maintain clear ticket records, resolution notes, user updates and supporting documentation.
- Assist with documentation of SAP processes, user guidance, requirements and technical specifications where required
- Support related business applications, retailer systems and interfaces where they interact with SAP or core business processes.

Excellent BA skills with experience including:
- User requirements gathering and workshop facilitation
- Translation of user requirements into technical specifications
- Business process re-engineering/streamlining.
- Solid experience of day-to-day application support/resolution
- Strong experience in producing easy-to-follow training collateral
- Strong Experience supporting ERP, CRM, BI platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships to support the delivery of business initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to take ownership of issues through to resolution
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask whilst working to tight deadlines
- Strong team player, comfortable to work and communicate with all levels of the business
- Ability to think outside the box to provide solution options to support business initiatives
