About

We are working with a global insurer with 700+ employees operating across more than 150 countries and ranked in the top 10 contributors to Lloyd’s.

Business Application Manager (Insurance System)

We’re hiring a Business Application Manager in London to lead the support rollout for our new internal system, a tool built for sales tracking and account management.

This is a foundational hire: you'll be the first on the ground and a key figure in building the long-term support model for this critical application. You’ll collaborate closely with brokers and internal users, serving as the go-to person and shaping how the support frameworks scale over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary support contact for the application in London.
  • Deliver 1st and 2nd line support for business systems—both in-house and industry-standard.
  • Log and manage incidents via our Service Management platform, escalating when needed.
  • Build trusted relationships with brokers and internal users; be their advocate.
  • Monitor system data integrity and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles for internal use.
  • Provide on-call support during assigned periods.
  • Help define and implement the future structure of the support team.
Your Background
  • 2+ years’ experience in a business applications support or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and enterprise systems (insurance-specific tools a bonus).
  • Experience working in an insurance or financial services environment preferred.
  • Comfortable acting as a business-facing problem solver (not a technical engineer).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
What We’re Looking For
  • A people person—someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Organized and proactive, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay calm under pressure.
  • Someone with a keen interest in insurance operations and how systems support business growth.
  • An independent self-starter, ready to take ownership of a new product and shape its journey.
