Job Description:

Edward Mann is recruiting on behalf of a high-growth business in the Staffordshire area. Our client is seeking a Business and Finance Systems Analyst to join their team.

This role involves optimizing four different business systems, ensuring they communicate effectively, and developing efficiency drivers to enhance operational performance.

Responsibilities include:

1. Create a process map for all key MI systems - CRM, Operations Management, Finance and Purchasing, and Project Management.
2. Collaborate with management to identify business needs and recommend solutions.
3. Identify process weaknesses and develop data-driven solutions for improvement.
4. Enhance the efficiency of key business report outputs.
5. Bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions.
6. Work independently and with the Finance Reporting Analyst and IT team to improve reporting outputs.
7. Provide cover for the Finance Reporting Analyst during holidays and absences.

We are seeking candidates with:

1. Experience in process mapping, project support, and process improvement; programming skills in Python, SQL, or Macro languages (Visual Basic).
2. Advanced skills in Excel and Access, including macros.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
4. Some exposure to or understanding of accounting processes is desirable to understand relevant inputs/outputs.
