An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Sports and Events Coordinator to join their dynamic team. Based within the Sport & Physical Activity department at the University of Leeds, you and your team will serve as the central point of contact for all customer inquiries related to bookings and events for outdoor sport facilities. Working closely with the Outdoor Operations Manager, you will develop and maintain positive and effective working relationships, both internally and externally, with commercial customers, stakeholders, and partners to maximize business opportunities for Sports Park Weetwood & Sports Park Bodington.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining records to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of facility functions, liaising with booking contacts regarding terms of usage, contracts, facility access, and cancellations, and coordinating the management and delivery of one-off events across the facilities.
Typical working days are Monday to Friday. However, some flexibility will be required to support events held during evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and University closed days. These duties are provided as a general framework for the role and are not exhaustive. Additional reasonable duties may be assigned consistent with the grade of the post.
