Job summary

Camlin, a global technology leader, is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Supply Chain team in Lisburn. You will transform operational data into insights, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement across planning, engineering, procurement, logistics, quality and operations.

The role emphasizes developing dashboards, KPIs, and data-driven strategies, collaborating with multiple departments to enhance performance and efficiency while maintaining data integrity and SOPs.

Qualifications

  • Qualified in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, business analysis, supply chain analysis or operational analytics role.
  • Experience in a Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Operations environment.
  • Advanced skills with Excel and Power BI, including reporting, data manipulation, pivot tables and analysis.
  • Experience working with data models, database structures and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative approach across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse supply chain and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and visual reports to support business decision-making.
  • Collect, interpret and report on key business and supply chain KPIs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments to support data-driven strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations that improve operational performance and efficiency.
  • Support business intelligence activities through quantitative analysis and reporting.
  • Evaluate supply chain opportunities and contribute to strategic improvement projects.
  • Conduct statistical analysis and maintain records to support departmental objectives and performance metrics.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures relating to data collection and analysis.
  • Support the implementation of standard work and process improvements.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across business systems and reporting platforms.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Supply Chain team in Lisburn. This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven professional to help transform operational and supply chain data into meaningful business insights that support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Working closely with Planning, Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, Quality and Operations teams, you'll play a key role in analysing performance, identifying trends and opportunities, and supporting strategic initiatives across the business. What You'll Be Doing

  • Proven experience in a data analysis, business analysis, supply chain analysis or operational analytics role.
  • Experience working within a Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Operations environment.
  • Advanced skills with packages such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI, including reporting, data manipulation, pivot tables and analysis.
  • Experience working with data models, database structures and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
