Business Analyst / Project Coordinator - Energy Retail

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst / Project Coordinator to join Tally Group, a leading provider of billing and digital experience software solutions to the energy sector. You'll be supporting our Mass Market - Segment Lead, an energy industry guru, on a major project, using your expert business analysis and project coordination skills to drive and coordinate teams to achieve successful outcomes.

Based in our gorgeous Cremorne office, this role offers flexibility for hybrid work. This is a 6-month contract role initially, but we will consider permanent for the right person. Immediate start preferred.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting detailed business analysis to understand client requirements, identify opportunities for process improvements and develop solutions to drive operational excellence
• Coordinating cross-functional project teams to ensure the seamless delivery of complex deliverables
• Documenting and translating client needs into clear, actionable requirements and specifications
• Liaising with stakeholders at all levels to gather information, manage expectations and communicate project status
• Providing expert guidance and recommendations to senior management on strategic business initiatives
• Supporting the Mass Market - Segment Lead across all facets of a major project

What we're looking for

• Experience as a Business Analyst or Project Coordinator in the energy sector
• Extensive knowledge of the Australian energy retail market, particularly Mass / Small market. Experience in an operational role in energy retail would be ideal
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and translate technical requirements into practical solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to contribute at all levels
• Analytical thinker who uses their knowledge to identify gaps and ask the right questions
