Business Analyst - Process Mapping

My client who are market leaders within the data & technology space in the UK are on the look out for a Business Analyst to join them on a 6 month contract Inside IR35.

It will be remote based with the occasional travel to London / Peterborough.

The successful candidate will support cross-functional teams by mapping business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and assisting with the evaluation and selection of tools and technologies. This role requires excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong ability to work collaboratively across different business units.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with business teams to map current and future-state processes using tools like Miro.
* Gather, analyse, and document business requirements through internal meetings and workshops.
* Develop clear and concise documentation, including process flows, business requirements, and user guides.
* Support tool and technology selection by researching options, evaluating requirements fit, and contributing to decision-making.
* Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding across departments.
* Maintain and update documentation as processes and tools evolve.

Required Skills and Experience

* 2 - 4 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven stakeholder management abilities.
* Experience creating process maps and workflows using tools like Miro (or similar).
* Ability to quickly understand complex processes and convey them clearly.
