Business Analyst | Power & Gas SME | £800/Day OUTside IR35 | Energy Trading – 6 months rolling | Hybrid
We are seeking a Business Analyst SME in the Power trading space for a commodities & energy trading firm, covering both physical & derivative trading. Due to their growth and new product onboarding, they require an ETRM SME Business Analyst to work across the project lifecycle, including business requirements analysis, functional specifications, testing, and UAT support.
The successful candidate will leverage deep knowledge of the European power market, ETRMs, and related systems to ensure successful delivery of business and technology changes. Strong BA skills are essential for requirements gathering, detailed mapping in Azure DevOps, and collaboration with stakeholders.
Responsibilities include testing to confirm system functionality, working closely with Program Managers and stakeholders to align business needs with project goals, and driving continuous improvement through post-implementation reviews.
This role offers up to £800/Day OUTside IR35.
3 days per week in the office
Location: London
Must have demonstrable knowledge of traded derivative products for ETD and OTC, with proficiency in Azure DevOps and ETRM.
Key responsibilities include analyzing and optimizing existing systems, understanding the power deal lifecycle, defining and documenting business requirements, liaising with IT and architecture teams, and participating in testing phases.
