Urgent requirement for a Business Analyst - Perm / Contract - Melbourne

Requirements

1. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 7+ years of experience in business analysis, with a deep understanding of processes and proficiency in MuleSoft and Agile methodologies.
2. Play a key role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical solutions, ensuring alignment of applications and services with strategic goals.
3. Create prioritized feature lists and user story backlogs. Act as liaison between operations and development teams. Design functional use cases. Review technical design and test cases.
4. Perform use case testing in integration testing. Assist in reviewing integration test strategies and UAT plans. Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and management, to gather and analyze business requirements.
5. Develop detailed functional and technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria based on gathered requirements.
6. Utilize MuleSoft to design and implement integration solutions that improve business operations.
7. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
8. Conduct impact analysis and feasibility studies to assess how proposed changes affect existing processes and systems.
9. Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and agreement on project objectives.
10. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business process flows, use cases, test cases, and user manuals.
11. Support testing by identifying test scenarios, coordinating UAT, and validating solutions meet business needs.
12. Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and technology standards to recommend process improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in MuleSoft, with hands-on experience in API design and development.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and other Agile project management tools.

Duration: Permanent / 6 Months with possible extension
