Business Analyst – MRI (Capita) One System (Education Services)

This busy London local authority is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to provide interim support to its Education Services team, focusing on the MRI (Capita) One system. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting key education processes, ensuring smooth system operation and enhancements.

• Configuration, enhancement, and development of MRI (Capita) One system functionalities.
• Oversight of portal and forms development within MRI (Capita) One.
• Leading change management processes for system improvements.
• Providing strategic support on education infrastructure, funding, and policy development.
• Liaising with local authority teams, schools, developers, and statutory bodies to optimize education service delivery.

• Extensive local authority experience in education services.
• Expertise in MRI (Capita) One, with proven ability to configure and enhance system functionalities.
• Strong knowledge of SEND, Early Years, Education Welfare, Educational Psychology, and School Transport.
• Hands-on experience with MRI (Capita) One portals, including portal and forms development.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, bridging technical and business needs effectively.

• Proficiency in SQL and reporting platforms to optimize system functionality.
• Experience in leading system development projects and stakeholder engagement.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
