Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking a hands-on Business Analyst to join a UK-based project team in Motherwell, Scotland, on a hybrid basis.

The role supports a medical devices/MedTech client through regulatory submissions and a commercial release update; you will gather and document requirements, work with Jira, Jama, Confluence, Lucid, and Miro, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver value.

Job description

Location: Motherwell, Scotland (Hybrid) Sector: Medical Devices / MedTech Day rate: £510 per day VIA Umbrella Duration: 3 months with extension for further 12 months

We are looking for a hands-on Business Analyst to join a UK-based project team supporting a leading organisation within the medical device sector.

The programme is currently supporting the client through a 510(k) submission, with the next phase focused on the commercial release of an updated version of the software.

This is a great opportunity for a BA with experience in a medical device or MedTech environment.

The successful candidate will have:

• Hands-on Business Analysis experience
• Must have Medical device-specific regulatory knowledge
• Experience using industry-standard tools such as Jira, Jama and Confluence
• Experience with visual modelling tools such as Lucid and Miro
• Good understanding of Agile and software delivery frameworks
• Strong requirements gathering, analysis and documentation skills
• Data analysis fundamentals
• Strong analytical and logical thinking
• Excellent communication skills
• Confident stakeholder management across business and technical teams
• A pragmatic and critical-thinking approach, focused on delivering value
• High levels of initiative, adaptability and proactive ownership

Previous exposure to 510(k) submissions would be beneficial given the current stage of the programme, but broader medical device regulatory knowledge is highly relevant.
