Business Analyst, Marvel Stadium

Delaware North Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join its Finance Team onsite at Marvel Stadium.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, Marvel Stadium is renowned for regularly staging AFL, A-League, international sporting events and concerts as well as BBL action under the famous retractable roof.

What we offer

In this role, the Data Analyst will be responsible for leveraging data-driven insights to enhance guest experiences, optimise operations, and drive revenue growth.

The role will develop reports and dashboards utilising self-serve visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau), analyse key revenue and cost drivers, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.

What will you do?

• Analyse guest spending, revenue trends, and operational performance using data from Point of Sale (POS)
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track KPIs such as RevPAR, ADR, and food & beverage sales
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reports and analytics
• Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams by providing actionable insights into pricing, product offers, and labour strategies to enhance the quality of decision-making
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support financial and operational decision-making
• Stay up to date with hospitality industry trends, analytics best practices, and emerging technologies

More about you

• Previous experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or revenue analytics, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and SQL for data querying and reporting
• Experience with Point of Sale Systems (SwiftPOS highly desirable)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Knowledge of revenue management principles, pricing models, and forecasting techniques
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
