Business Analyst - London, UK

"Global Futures and Options Ltd (GFO-X)", a UK FCA authorised and regulated MTF, is seeking a Business Analyst to join our growing team in London, UK.

GFO-X is the UK's first regulated and centrally cleared trading venue dedicated to digital asset derivatives. GFO-X has partnered with LCH SA which will offer clearing of Bitcoin index futures and options contracts traded on GFO-X. This will be made available through a new segregated clearing service, LCH DigitalAssetClear. GFO-X services large global institutional participants who require a regulated, institutional-grade trading venue for digital asset derivatives, including Bitcoin index futures and options.

You will be part of a dynamic and experienced team bringing the features of traditional derivative markets to the rapidly expanding digital asset arena.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the business and technology leadership teams to define and structure the vision and roadmap for strategic priorities and complex initiatives
  • Partner across the organisation to translate strategy into goals, scope, deliverables, plans, and drive the end-to-end execution
  • Synthesizes information and observations into actionable insights and recommendations, including implications that inform decisions
  • Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and impediments that may impact the success of delivery
  • Ensure continuous improvement by implementing feedback loops and refining the effectiveness and agility of processes
  • Proactively establishing strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Supporting the business and technology leadership in its communication and engagement across the organisation
  • Communicate delivery status, updates, outcomes, through preparations of reports and presentations, including to senior management

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience aligning business and technology-driven strategic initiatives with project execution and delivery
  • Track record of assessing, analysing, and resolving complex business and technology challenges to deliver results, a drive for strategic execution
  • Experience in and knowledge of financial markets preferred, particularly concerning the derivatives marketplace and exchange ecosystem
  • Experience working closely with Technology teams preferred, familiarity with software development life cycle and Agile methodology
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize relentlessly and meet deadlines
  • Ability to proactively identify, digest, synthesize, analyse, and visualise relevant information to facilitate decision-making, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively and consultatively to align senior stakeholders, building consensus while influencing without authority
  • Ability to remain flexible, agile, and resilient to pivot and change direction, highly comfortable with working through ambiguity and creating clarity
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence is strongly preferred
