Mō te whai waahi | About the opportunity

As Business Analyst Lead, you’ll head up our Business Analysis team within the Enterprise PMO (ePMO), driving impactful transformation initiatives across the business. You’ll provide hands-on leadership in projects that redefine how we operate, helping map current and future states using our Process and Value Chain Framework.

This is a people-first leadership role – you’ll guide, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Business Analysts, enabling delivery of robust insights, improved processes, and real results. Reporting to the General Manager – Transformation, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Retail, Sales, Supply Chain and beyond.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and mentoring a team of Business Analysts

Defining and documenting business requirements

Leading the application of BA practices, tools, and methodologies

Facilitating the alignment of business processes across the organisation

Driving a culture of continuous improvement

Influencing transformation outcomes across the business

This is a two year fixed term contract linked to projectdeliverables.

You’ll be an experienced leader and practitioner, confident navigating change and ambiguity, and passionate about improving how we work. You’ll bring:

10+ years’ experience in business analysis and project delivery

Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams

Solid exposure to Retail, Sales or Supply Chain environments

Strong knowledge of BA tools, process modelling, and agile methodologies

Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation skills

A tertiary qualification in IT, Business, or a related field

You’re someone who builds trust quickly, thrives on collaboration, and balances pragmatism with a sharp analytical mind.
