What Is the Opportunity?

Travelers Europe is seeking a Business Analyst, with experience working in an Insurance environment, to join our team in London!

As part of the Strategic Planning and Execution team, you will help the team and work alongside other Business Analysts on our change portfolio. You will work closely with colleagues across the business along with Product Owners and Project Managers. You will report to the Senior Manager for Business Analysis.

Your main responsibilities will include gathering information from different parts of the organisation to help deliver the right solutions for the business. You will need to be confident in interviewing stakeholders and customers. We are looking for someone eager to understand and learn about the creation and delivery of solutions, as well as develop skills related to technical specifications.

Travelers Europe offers flexibility for hybrid work in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy, involving three days in the office and two days at home per week.

This role is eligible for a £1,500 new joiner referral bonus. If successfully referred by an employee, both you and the referrer may receive this bonus.

What Will You Do?

• Collect, understand, document, validate and communicate the business requirements for the product work
• Build specifications in line with third-party requirements
• Document business processes
• Coordinate and perform user acceptance testing
• Perform ad hoc analysis to investigate operational issues
• Work with supervision from project managers or product owners
• Communicate insights and plans effectively to cross-functional teams, third parties, and management
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
• Identify, document, and track benefits
• Assist in delivering key project deliverables
• Liaise with project managers on project and task plans
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

• Experience with agile tools (e.g., Rally, Jira)
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Experience in commercial or syndicate insurance
• Knowledge of third-party SaaS systems like Acturis
• ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis or related modules

What is a Must Have?

• Proven project experience in business analysis within Insurance
