Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Digital Business Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Maidenhead. The role is hybrid with 3-4 days onsite, supporting the Commercial team on analysing new initiatives and opportunities.

You will map as-is and to-be processes, develop data flows, and configure digital solutions using Power BI, SharePoint, Power Apps and Power Automate, while ensuring data privacy and SDLC alignment.

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent IT education.
• Experience in business analysis or related roles.
• Understanding of data security principles and privacy by design.
• Experience in customer services or business support.

Responsibilities

• Support the Commercial team with deep analysis of new initiatives and opportunities.
• Map current processes and identify bottlenecks to propose improvements.
• Create as-is and to-be process maps and data flow diagrams.
• Document systems and solutions and ensure compliance with controls.
• Use client tools to build, configure and maintain compliant digital solutions.
• Liaise with client teams and third-party suppliers for guidance and signposting.
• Deliver remote demonstrations of new commercial initiatives to client teams.
• Support SDLC and related documentation with Senior Specialist Commercial Digital Solutions.

Commercial Digital Business Analyst

Job description

• Supporting the Commercial team in deep analysis of new Commercial initiatives and opportunities, including but not limited to opportunities surfaced from the Innovation Team and wider workforce.
• Using analytical skills to deeply understand current business processes, identify bottlenecks and triage potential solutions to drive commercial excellence.
• Produce 'as-is' and proposed 'to-be' process maps, data flow diagrams and documentation for systems and solutions.
• Using approved client's tools to build, configure and maintain compliant digital solutions or components to enhance Commercial and wider business functions.
• Liaising with Client's teams and 3rd party suppliers regarding commercial projects and initiatives in order to provide guidance, training and appropriate signposting.
• Providing remote demonstrations of new Commercial initiatives (software, platforms or processes) to client teams to explain, educate and adopt.
• Support the Senior Specialist Commercial Digital Solutions in maintaining appropriate Software Development Lifecycle and associated documentation.
• Liaising with appropriate EMEA personnel to support execution on Commercial and data privacy driven initiatives where appropriate.

Major Accountabilities

• Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
• Deliver accurate, timely, consistent, and quality customer support service.
• Identify and implement solutions to data privacy, data management and integration issues and concerns, including proactive prevention strategies.

Education

• Further or higher education to degree level or equivalent.
• Minimum IT education requirements are necessary so that the individual can manage the complexity and scope of the role.
• Project management skills.
• Skilled in using M365 suite of tools including Power BI, SharePoint, Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Ability to upskill rapidly in emerging M365 tools and best practice.
