Job Description

The Enterprise Architecture and Solutions Design group is recruiting a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst, who will be responsible for analysing business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the successful implementation of IT systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with stakeholders to deliver business objectives, ideally with a background in mining.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders across our business to gather and document their requirements is the most pressing activity for our new Business Analyst. We need you to facilitate stakeholder workshops and meetings to drive alignment on project goals. We are refining and expanding our Standards and Frameworks for Architecture and Solutions – an important deliverable for the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will:

Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Understand the intricacies of stakeholder management

Be able to work collaboratively in cross-functional geographically disperse teams

Show strong attention to detail and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications:

An undergraduate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study

A recognised Business Analyst certification and/or training

Experience & Technical Skills Required:

Proven track record as a Business Analyst within industry. Mining & international experience would be an asset

Relevant experience working on large, multi-discipline construction, engineering or mining industry projects

Knowledge and relevant experience of project management principles and systems would be beneficial

Competency in relevant EA frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)

Computer fluency essential. Proficient in Microsoft application software (particularly Excel & word)

Other Requirements:

Candidates must have the right to work in the applicable region without visa sponsorship

Mobile. Willingness to work and travel across FQM’s operations and locations worldwide

Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in other languages highly regarded
