• Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to accurately capture and document business requirements, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs and objectives.
• Perform detailed analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for enhancement and optimization.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews to gather requirements, user stories, and use cases, translating business needs into functional specifications and actionable items for development teams.
• Lead data analysis efforts to discern trends and insights that can inform business decisions and process improvements.
• Manage product ownership practices and processes to align product development with customer expectations, conducting impact assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate solutions.
• Support testing and quality assurance, collaborating with project managers to craft detailed project plans and ensure solutions meet client requirements.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst (Functional), ideally within the Defence and Security sector, demonstrating a strong track record in delivering complex projects.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methods such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe 5.0, and LeSS, and tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or QlikSense.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with a capability to manage scope and maintain strong relationships in challenging environments.
• Experience with Lean Portfolio Management and a background in transformation or complex delivery projects is highly valued.
